Nicole was a finalist in the 'Start Tel Aviv' competition run by the Embassy of Israel in Australia .

Amongst Australia’s own foreign fighters and domestic terrorists, the path from criminal to extremist is known. Bias crimes in particular; the acts of violence motivated by race, religion, sexual orientation, disability or gender; also appear as alarming precursors to more extreme behaviours.

Social cohesion needs to be less talk more action; our leaders must demonstrate a clear intent to authentically embrace the multicultural fabric of Australia. That isn't something you can talk about -it's something that must be done.
